We process the data you give us when you shop, contact us, subscribe to the newsletter, write a review or browse the website:

  • Identification and contact data: name, surname, email and phone number.
  • Shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order and purchase history data.
  • Payment information, handled directly by secure payment gateways.
  • Reviews and opinions you publish about our products, including any photos or videos you attach.
  • Browsing and device data, according to your cookie preferences.
  • Communication preferences.

Why we use your data and legal basis

  • To manage your orders, shipping, exchanges, returns and customer service. Legal basis: performance of the purchase contract.
  • To comply with legal obligations, tax and accounting. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • To send you newsletters and offers, if you subscribe. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To ask for your opinion on the products you have bought and publish the reviews you write. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing our customers' satisfaction and your consent when publishing the review.
  • To analyse and improve the website and measure our campaigns. Legal basis: your consent through the cookie panel.
  • To ensure the security of the store and prevent fraud. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

How long we keep your data

  • Order and billing data: for the legal retention period (6 years under the Spanish Commercial Code and tax law).
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Customer service enquiries and conversations: for as long as needed to resolve them and, afterwards, for the period in which claims may arise.
  • Reviews: while they are published, or until you ask us to remove them.

Who we share your data with

We only share your data with the providers needed to run the store, who act as data processors:

  • Shopify: store platform, payments and customer service chat.
  • Klaviyo: sending emails and newsletters.
  • Judge.me: requesting and publishing product reviews.
  • Shipping and logistics companies, and our product suppliers, to prepare and deliver your order.
  • Payment gateways and payment institutions.
  • Tax and accounting advisers, when necessary.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States or Canada). In those cases, transfers are made with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Product reviews

After your purchase we may send you an email asking for your opinion. If you publish a review, your name (or the abbreviated form you choose), your rating, your comment and any images you attach will be shown on the website. You can ask us to edit or remove it at any time by writing to hola@laura-dominguez.com.

Customer service chat

If you write to us through the website chat, we process your name, your email and the content of the conversation to answer your query. The chat runs on Shopify Inbox and an artificial intelligence assistant may give you the first answers; at any time you can ask to speak to a person from our team. Shopify processes this data as our platform provider under its own privacy policy.

Payments

Payments are made through secure platforms. Laura Domínguez does not store your full bank card details.

Marketing communications

You will only receive marketing communications if you have given your consent or if there is a legal basis that allows it. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link included in each email or by writing to hola@laura-dominguez.com.

Minors

Our store is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly process data of children under 14.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hola@laura-dominguez.com. Please state which right you want to exercise and the details needed to identify you.

Complaints

If you believe your data has not been processed correctly, write to us and we will review your case. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency or the data protection authority of your country.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and prevent its loss, alteration, misuse or unauthorised access.
